Capital Region

In the capital region, besides being able to discover the ever-growing, vibrant and the largest city in Greenland, known as "Nuuk", while also being the capital in Greenland, you will also be able to find the second largest fjord system in the world here! 

Boat with whale-watching and fishing tours with beautiful landscapes and Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) watching is a must and are main activities here!

From the unique and rare Greenlandic sled dogs to large glacial and fjord systems from the Greenlandic ice cap, listed on the UNESCO Heritage Sites list, with majestic and incredible icebergs which calves from the ice cap and flowing out in large streams daily, and with it's one-of-a-kind "Midnight Sun" occurance, North Greenland truly offers an extraordinary sensation and impression to anyone who visits and experiences this vast but remarkably beautiful place!

In East Greenland you will find the longest fjord system in the world, in the Ittoqqortoormiit (Scoresbysund) area! 

Though being quite remote compared to other parts in Greenland and having it's own unique dialect, here one can discover a great privilege of the life of the traditional Greenlandic hunters, in which the East Greenlandic culture strongly keep and maintain.

The Arctic Circle

The Arctic Circle is another famous area, where the 2nd largest city in Greenland, Sisimiut also can be found.

One also have the opportunity to see unique wildlife such as the musk oxen (reminds of a buffalo), reindeer and arctic hares! 

This is also the only place in all of Greenland with a connecting road to the astonishing wonder of the great Ice Cap itself, meaning you can go on a tour that can take you there by driving! 

Just as it goes for South Greenland, some areas here have also recently been enlisted to the UNESCO World Heritage list!

A thousand years ago is when the viking, "Eric The Red", came to these parts and named the country he then discovered for "Greenland", and for good reasons too. In South Greenland, you will behold and discover that Greenland literally is green during the summer, in fact it is so green that one can find agriculture is flourishing here, with vegetable and sheep farms! 

In addition to the warm South Greenlandic hospitality, one can also encounter with spectacular icebergs and drift-ice.

And in case we forgot to mention it, some areas here have also been enlisted on the UNESCO World Heritage list quite recently!
