Katuaq has a large cinema theater and where several events, such as concerts, art exhibitions, cultural events and conference meetings and presentations are held throughout the year.

You will also be able to find a café here which serves Greenlandic tapas and great coffee for coffee-lovers!

Nuuk has the first largest department store and shopping mall in Greenland, called: "Nuuk Center", with several fashion boutiques, souvenir shops, a restaurant, a supermarket and a café.

As you can find the second largest fjord system in the world in these parts, Nuuk is surrounded by beautiful picturesque nature, such as it mountainous fjords with rivers running through them, where you can find huts and cottages which can be rented, if you would like to get out in the beautiful Greenlandic nature and smell the fresh nature air.

Nuuk is a great place for the astonishing light-shows of the natural phenomena of Northern Lights (Aurora Boralis) on clear days during the winter, where photographers can get some great pictures and memories to take back home.
